As of yesterday, I am now a member of the University Singers. According to their website, this choir is primarily comprised of music majors. I noticed this when I walked into Glidden Hall for my callback. The room was filled with mature and developed voices.
It sounded SO BEAUTIFUL! I had so much fun just to sing with a choir again. I thought to myself that I wouldn't be too upset if I didn't make it- I enjoyed the experience of putting myself out there as a freshman (and a non-music major).
So now I have 18 credit hours. I think it will be worth it though. I'm now involved in something constructive, and I hope to meet many amazing people.
